A Word From The Artist:
‘I am a location painter and illustrator from Wales.
What I strive to capture in my work: the sense of anonymity and timelessness of locations often passed by momentarily: – a street corner, a station platform, a lane, a vacant interior, a window, the edge of town.
My father once made me two pochade paintboxes. Their sizes correspond with the two sizes of paintings exhibited. And so I cycle around with my paintbox flâneur-like, sometimes for hours until I encounter such a location; often transformed from something out of the ordinary by passing shadows and light. And I sit and paint.’

A Word From The Artist:
‘Every person born on Earth is a part of the harmonious Universe, a note in the divine melody. We come into this world for only a brief moment to make ourselves and the world better. One of the means to achieve this, alongside love and self-improvement, is art. Through it, we convey the emotions we experience when trying to capture the beauty of creation on canvas. This is why plein air painting is closest to my heart.’

A Word From The Artist:
‘”Os olhos foram feitos para ver o belo”
The eyes exist to behold beauty.
My art, guided by light, gifts you a place for reflection.
Spheres form a blur in the landscape where details fade, allowing your
imagination to complete the picture. As you move around the painting, the gold shifts with the light, drawing you into the present moment and
transporting you to the ocean. In this space you’ll find a deeper
connection with the world around you.’

Maramgoní, born in São Paulo in 1972, is a self-taught artist who began painting at the age of nine. Over his 40-year career, he has developed a unique style that blends urban elements, abstraction, and lyricism. Internationally recognized, he has participated in numerous exhibitions worldwide, receiving accolades such as the Special Prize at the Salon of Fine Arts in France and showcasing his work at the ONU in New York. In 2019, he relocated to Portugal, where he continued to expand his career with exhibitions in various cities, including a notable solo show at the Estoril Casino Art Gallery and a special exhibition in Lagoa, commemorating the city’s 250th anniversary with 32 works and the publication of a book.
Maramgoní’s art emerges from the interaction between his critical view of society and his inner quest for technical and plastic enhancement. His paintings are born from a continuous creative impulse, without prior sketches, exploring light, shadow, and colors with great expressiveness. He constructs his works based on reflection on the past and present, projecting the future he envisions. His work is marked by the revival of the memory of cities, places, and the history of the people. Thus, his art combines sensitivity, spontaneity, and conceptual depth.

A Word From The Artist:
‘Gaia Mother’s earth:
The concept of Mother Earth’s rebirth often symbolizes a renewal of life, nature, and the environment, reflecting cycles of destruction and regeneration. On laughter, towards us humans, who never seem to notice enough. In Chinese culture, the carp holds significant symbolic meaning, particularly in relation to perseverance, strength and transformation. Mother Earth and the carp is symbolic of the interconnectedness (association) of all living things.Showing how each species, including humans, relies on the planet’s resources.
Universe Whispers :
The blue night sky feels like a serene embrace, stretching endlessly above,Quiet that holds mystery and peace. It’s as the world pauses find myself drawn into its calm depths. You can find yourself into it. Mother’s earth holds us gently, with every breath. While the black universe watches in silent mystery. I ‘ve separated the opera in 2 pieces intentionally .
to demonstrate, to show, to draw the magical earth in universe.
Universe infinity ,emptiness, darkness, can be added and or , separated.
It’s a personnel imagination, it’s as if:
It exists another baby mother’s earth or a part of Mother’s earth that gave birth to re-live,
To renew cycles of nature.
We can also imagine it by another way, baby earth is following, searching, healing,
It’s origin birth, to touch and stay with, not to be lost , in all directions in the universe.
At the same time, they are independent and free in the darkness.

A Word From The Artist:
I am a self-taught multi-faceted artist of Belvedere Arts in Ascot. I work across various media including painting, drawing, sculpture and woodwork. My art is free, expressive and experimental. You will often see different styles and mediums colliding together in my work. I incorporate various materials, using non-prescribed methods to create fascinating sui generic pieces of art. Lately I have been focusing on experimental work with natural wood combining it with various materials namely resin, silicone, metal powder and more. I have created a small collection of work that I was very fortunate to had been invited to exhibit at FAAM Gallery in Twickenham that work with inspirational artists. The collection is called Amalgamates derived from the word Amalgamate meaning combine or unite two or more things to form one.
This collection of amalgamates was conceived from my love of nature and passion for woodwork, which was awoken in me by my grandfather, whom was not only a remarkable man but a life guide to me as a young man. Whilst walking through the woodland on the beautiful Surrey estate where I worked, I came across a fallen tree and scattered broken off branches weathered to almost white colour. Seemingly ugly, deformed rejects of nature, and yet I saw beauty in it. I picked a few unusually shaped branches. In my workshop i accidently placed the collected branch on the antique frame I was working on and that is when I saw the collision of the unmanicured natural wood and perfect man-made piece come together to unveil fascinating amalgamate.
