Through Abstract Art and Contemporary Painting, this exhibition invites viewers to explore the intricate connections of our lives. Each artwork offers a lens to reflect on how we relate to ourselves, how we build relationships with others, and how we interact with the environment around us. By combining bold colour with vivid imagery, this exhibition explores the relationships and experiences that shape our personal lives and the world we share.

Talia Sullivan

Talia Sullivan’s work invites us to contemplate the marginalisation of humanity in the vast natural (and unnatural) landscapes that surround us.
Drawing upon her experience growing up in rural southern England, Talia’s work is an appreciation of ‘the autonomous quality of the world untouched by humans.’
And in the wide vistas of her work, there is a sense also of the anonymity of modern society. The downward angle from which we see her subjects puts us, the audience, in a position of power, inviting us to reflect on the complex– and often insidious– societal imbalances that impact our everyday lives.

Pilar Ostolaza

Pilar Ostolaza is a watercolour Artist based in Mexico City.
Her art is a deeply personal lens through which she explores the beauty and complexity of nature, reflecting her unique experiences and perceptions. The colours she uses vividly express her emotional state, with each hue blending sensitivity and reality, connecting raw emotion with the tangible world around her. Her work becomes a dialogue between her inner self and the external environment, where emotion and observation meet in harmonious balance.
A key aspect of her work is the lively unpredictability of watercolour. Its fluidity brings uncertainty, giving each piece a dynamic, spontaneous energy. The paint seems to flow and blend on its own, defying control yet adding life and balancing dense vibrant tones with delicate and airy washes, capturing the harmony between control and surrender in the creative process.

Jod

Jod is a Swiss visual artist who explores the diversity of mediums through performance, installations and paintings that he develops in his studio in Bulle, Switzerland.
Jod’s work is nourished by a constant questioning of the human conditions through the act of artistic expression. Through his work, he questions the intersection between consciousness and randomness, exploring paradoxes rooted in archetypes from the past, the burdens of the present, and the fears of the future.
