Valerijana Krasniqi Art – @valerijana_krasniqi_art

The artist who discovered her passion in the Corona crisis March 2020. to bridge the quarantine time Valerijana thought all around me paint so paint to bridge the Corona time. Since she had certainly not painted more than 25 years, but at that time the art teacher had already seen the talent in her and compared her with the great artists of the world she could not imagine it and decided for another way. But already at the first picture in 2020 her friends and she realized that she paints differently she was like a little child who was allowed to paint and uninhibited experimenter. After the first picture I was like in a trance state, and I could not stop the first 6 months to paint day and night. I experimented with all the materials where I had available. At night I bought large lighting so that I could also paint there until I fell down to exhaustion after 3 months, I had 30 different pictures in different formats the largest is 2×2.80cm. Like a little child I stand in front of my blank canvas and start to play the music of painting without a thought of what the result will be in the end but let myself be guided by something deep that I cannot describe. By going to the painting like a naive child, I create art that has never been seen before. I have certainly already 8 different techniques that only I know because I must see in my head the colors and the material and I can combine it and try out always come up with new creations. After 6 months I had my first art exhibition in Zurich HB Swissartexpo after 10 months I had my first exhibition at Galerie Bucher Switzerland. Then I was accepted at Saatchi Art and Artmajeur and became a member of an artist association. Since then, I have exhibited internationally and have been published in Artmajeurmagazine. Grateful that I was allowed to paint in this crisis.

For me personally art is a way to express freedom in a boundaryless space without conformity, where a colour and texture encased form exists. The rendered form you see before you is not just a bird or a flower, it is a tangible collection of colour and texture that has been brought together on the canvas. When I am in the studio I find moments of stillness and clarity, with the occasional gust of whimsey. I work primarily with acrylic, I love the bright pigments and the versatility of its consistency. Although I use a brush for the outline layer of a piece, palette knives and bamboo sticks are my main tools for achieving the level of texture required to make forms and shapes.

Glynnis Abraham  IS A  BRITISH ARTIST , BORN IN SOUTH AFRICA.

SHE HAS FOCUSED HER WORKS  BASED ON HER HERITAGE, POLITICS AND RICHNESS OF COLOUR. She WAS MENTORED BY MICHAEL WERNER, PETER SCHMIDT AND PAUL PETER PIECH, WELL ESTABLISHED ARTISTS

USES AN ABSTRACT EXPRESSIVE APPROACH WHICH GIVES THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE FIGURATIVELY AND ABSTRACTLY BY BUILDING LAYERED COMPOSITIONS.

 THE HUMAN FORM IS OFTEN THE BEGINNING OF HER JOURNEY WHERE ABSTRACT SHAPES WILL EVOLVE.

 HER WORK IS CONNECTED TO HER LOVE OF COLOUR, LUMINOSITY AND TO THE EMOTIONAL BOLDNESS  OF THE HUMAN BODY AND SHAPES.

THESE TECHNIQUES ARE EXPRESSED THROUGH HER OWN PERSONAL CHALLENGES FACED AFTER 20YRS AS A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT PATIENT.

Max Sheppard – @maxsheppardartist

“I work with wood, predominantly found on local beaches and marshland, as well as other materials such as plastics and metal. Often being boxy and angular in design, the wall-based reliefs are abstract in appearance but are based loosely around my architecturally inspired drawings. When it comes to composition, I like the shape, condition, and other characteristics of the materials to play a significant part in its decision. Though there may be an architectural link with my methodical working technique, there is limited planning prior to constructing a piece, which I go about in quite an abstract manner. Paint and other artistic mediums are applied to select areas of the work, with coverage varying from piece to piece. The nature of the materials often determining the colour palette to build a theme and achieve a balance or even intentional clash of man-made and natural.”

Paul Newton – @ingrave_arts

Born in London many years ago, I retired from paid employment in June 2021 and part of my retirement plan was to actively pursue my long-standing interests in art, photography and films and filmmaking. This is my second showing – last year I had a painting in a small gallery in Rochester, Kent. You can find examples of my work on my website.

Inspired – if that’s the right word – by my increasing disillusionment with standards in public life, this collection of work comprises three scenes depicting public figures in imagined settings. Dressed in unfamiliar clothing, the subjects are set alongside objects representative of their lives, which reflect, to my mind at least, who they are and how they should be remembered.

Pamina Stewart – @paminastewart

Pamina Stewart has exhibited both internationally and across the UK. Working across a range of media (painting, printing, drawing and sculpture) her extensive career has found her painting as Artist in Residence in Lahti Finland, exhibiting in Prague soon after the Velvet Revolution and creating an installation in Ottawa Canada. More recently her sculptures could be found on display in Saltaire, Yorkshire and a one-person exhibition at The Piecehall

in Halifax. Numerous commissions have included a request from Coca Cola to make twice life-size bull made entirely from recycled drinks cans.

In these recent wall mounted sculptures, Pamina has created a series of ‘’Animal Guardians’’, creatures to protect and watch over the environment. The sculptures are all based on wildlife, that many people have taken great pleasure and solace with during the lockdowns. All are made from hard-to-recycle plastic packaging and natural renewable natural materials. Assembling and making new things while recycling, fires Pamina’s imagination and celebrates the exploration of these non-traditional materials.‘’By using these materials to produce work, I wish to promote a sustainable art practice that is respectful of the planet.’’

Katayoun Afrooz – @katayoun_afrooz

Katayoun Afrooz is a Persian visual artist and filmmaker, Katayoun undertook her formal education and MFA studies in film and visual arts in the United States at Columbia college school of film. Furthermore, she studied filmmaking and video art under critically acclaimed Iranian film director Abbas Kiarostami.

Spending half of her life in the east and half in the west, Katayoun main concern is human experience and notion of

one ‘s self. which she is exploring through moving images.

Currently based in Los Angeles, California, Katayoun continues focusing on making films and Images.

Rumi’s goal was to point people to a non-dual state, the ultimate reality, a time before all became differentiated, dual, and plural. He was trying to describe something similar to the division of yin and yang and their non-dual state of Tao. In Rumi’s writings, the major dualist divisions, apart from young-old, man-woman, day-night, and so on, are mainly between belief and disbelief, worshipper and worshipped, time and space, separation and unity

Roberta Volpe & Sound Hybrid Artist – : @robertavolpeart, @soundhybridartist

Roberta Volpe is an award-winning Set Designer. Born in Milan she trained in Set Design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and in Set and Costume Design at the Opera Academy of Verona. She did her apprenticeship at Teatro La Scala in Milan where she masters her skills as a sculptor and painter.

Her painting style expresses itself through textured explosions of colours and silhouettes that emerge from a blurred background that are expressed in energetic brushstrokes.

S.H.A. mean Sound Hybrid Artist. He is an audio producer, a sound designer, a sound engineer, a composer, a film director, and a sound artist.

Born near Paris, drummer, he studied computer science before completing a Master’s degree in sound for motion pictures.

His work explores the diversity of emotions through a wide range of fields that require the use of sound.

His art project called “My Sound Vision Of…” is meant to create soundtracks on art to give an amazing immersive sound experience inspired by his feelings and his vision of a piece of art. It creates the SHARAWADJI effect, a sensation of plenitudesometimes created by the contemplation of a complex soundscape whose beauty is inexplicable.

The collaboration between them is called “SOUND ON ART”. The aim is to create a dual piece of art, one painting and one soundtrack (carved onto a vinyl disc). The soundtrack is based on S.H.A.’s feelings from Roberta’s paintings.

I am an equine artist having grown around horses from a very early age. Each work is unique through its emotional nature. My works are a visual story of my life and have a bit of my soul within each.

This collection is dedicated to my grandparents who have always encouraged my love for horses and self-expression.

A unique aspect of my style is the use of various makeups (lipstick, mascara, nail polish as well as spices/cake decorating materials.

Born and raised in South London and currently studying at UalCamberwell college of arts. I am a self-taught free hand abstract artist. Most of my works have been created in a block or on the streets of elephant & castle or on the bus to a destination just for me to reach destinations like here, is a blessing. Art is something that could be done anywhere.

Therefore, I use my surrounding environments energy to motivate me to build images that consist of intricate lines and unique shapes. I then use my patience to perfect them to the best of my abilities. Motivated by a construction worker or a person practicing Muay Thai at a local park. I thrive off of their discipline and transfer it onto my page. I form images at all angles giving multiple perspectives creating a mega shamble. My inspirations involve nature and life forms. So, I tend to give everything character which usually appears with a face or is filled with patterns which on a canvas is described as life.
