The Brick Lane Gallery is located
at the top of vibrant Brick Lane in East London’s
art hub. Situated between Hoxton and Whitechapel, the area
surrouding The Brick Lane Gallery is famous for its trendy
gallery restaurants, bars and cafes that attract an eclectic
mesh of artists and culture seekers. The lane is also renowned
for its many Sunday markets including The Brick Lane Market,
the Spitalfields Fashion and Art Market, The Columbia Road
Flower Market, Cheshire Road Furniture and Vintage clothing
Market and the Truman Brewery Fashion Market making it a
lively location for fashion, art, food and bars. Street
artists from across the globe have always been attracted
to this area, using its galleries and street walls as a
platform for global contemporary street art.
The Brick Lane Gallery
is in close proximity to the White Cube,
The Rocket Gallery, the Whitechapel
Art gallery, The Truman Brewery, the Rick
Mix Media Project and many other smaller independent
galleries.
The gallery has a visible ground floor
with a front window display overlooking Brick Lane. The
gallery is 800sq feet in total with ground floor and basement
galleries. We are currently accepting applications for gallery
hire for 2009/2010.
